What to Watch

• Biotech is carrying the calendar. TRex Bio (priced at the low end of its range) and Retension (priced at the midpoint) debut on October 9, and Iambic Therapeutics is next with a roughly $150M deal on October 15. How these first-day trades behave will shape appetite for the rest of the biotech queue, which also includes Lycia Therapeutics (filed for about $100M).
• Bigger names are filing. DayOne Data Centers filed for an estimated $3.0B US IPO and Centinel Spine filed for about $100M in early October. Filings are not pricings: timing and size can change or be postponed.
• The Anthropic shadow. Press reports (Bloomberg, relayed by Renaissance Capital and others) say Anthropic could begin formal IPO marketing as soon as the week of November 9. This is reported, not confirmed by a public prospectus, and the schedule could slip.
• Small-cap noise. Several of the later-October listings are micro-cap deals of $17–$31M. Liquidity is thin and first-day swings can be large in either direction.

Why It Matters for Pre-IPO and Tokenized Equity Investors

The IPO calendar is the exit window for private-market positions. A healthy, orderly run of deals supports valuations of secondary and Pre-IPO holdings, while postponements and downsized offerings (several this month, per Renaissance Capital) signal that public investors are pricing risk more strictly. A large AI listing in November would be a major test of that demand: it could pull attention and capital from smaller deals, but a strong reception could also reopen the window for other late-stage private companies. Tokenized equity products that track pre-IPO or recently listed names also inherit this volatility, along with their own risks around liquidity, custody and legal structure.
