The Atour Lifestyle loyalty program has around 32 million individual (non-corporate) customers. In 2021, the loyalty program accounted for almost 40% of total hotel room sales. Atour Lifestyle was one of the first in China to start retail sales through in-room product placements. The company collaborates with manufacturers to implement various sales scenarios depending on hotel visitors' intentions. The gross merchandise volume (GMV) for Atour Lifestyle's retail business in 2021 rose by nearly 113% year-on-year to 228.2 million yuan.
