What to give to someone who has everything? Cash in an envelope is banal and spent quickly. Things are not always easy to guess. But a share in Apple, Tesla, or Coca-Cola is a gift that can grow with the person for years.
This is a mechanism where you purchase a real security (or its share) on the New York Stock Exchange and transfer it to another person. The recipient becomes a full owner—they can hold the share, receive dividends, or sell it whenever they want.
It is not a virtual certificate or a picture for memory. It is a real share in a company, processed through a licensed broker.
An important nuance: the gift operates under the 'closed loop' rule. This means the giver and recipient must be within the same ecosystem:
This requirement is related to the accounting of securities and protection against fraud. Cross-channel gifts are technically impossible and legally not allowed.
Symbolic. A share in a company that the recipient uses: iPhone—Apple, coffee—Starbucks, sneakers—Nike. The gift becomes personal.
Practical. It's the start of an investment portfolio, not an item that will gather dust in the closet.
Long-term. In 10 years, such a gift may be worth many times more than its original amount.
Educational. Upon receiving their first share, a person often starts getting interested in investments and forms a financial habit.
Step 1. Open the app and select the 'Gift a Share' section.
Step 2. Choose the stock and amount. Enter the recipient's phone number.
Step 3. Confirm the payment. The recipient will receive an SMS and will be able to claim the gift after registration.
If the recipient is not yet registered in the service, they will be offered to create an account. It takes a few minutes, and the share will be credited automatically.
The minimum gift amount is from 100 somoni. This means you can gift even a small share of an expensive stock. For example, one whole Apple stock costs more than 2000 somoni, but for 100 somoni, you would gift ~0.04 shares—a real share that will grow with the company.
Can shares be gifted to a child? Yes, but the account is registered in the name of a parent or guardian. The actual owner is an adult, while the child receives the gift symbolically.
What if the recipient does not collect the gift? The share is returned to the giver after a certain period (usually 30 days). The money does not expire.
Is tax payable on the gift? Gift taxation issues are regulated by the Tax Code of Tajikistan. We recommend checking current rates before giving large sums.
💡 If you want to start investing—opening an account with a licensed broker can be done in a few minutes. Top-up from 100 somoni, without visiting an office.
